And to all a good night….

My card is reminiscent of hanging our stockings on Christmas Eve when the world seemed full of wonder.Magenta Dec post

I cut watercolor paper to the same size as the 5″ x 5″ Poinsettias and Swirls stencil, then applied Cobalt Archival Ink thru the stencil with a blending tool.

I stamped the sentiment on the border, then the two Evergreen Branch stamps using Olive Archival Ink (using a piece of paper to mask off the area with the sentiment).

I added “berries” to the branches with a red marker. I added snow to the background with a white pen. I stamped red cardstock with the Christmas Song – Music Sheet stamp for added visual texture and traced the poinsettia mask several times, fussy cut them, and layered them on the border.

I stamped the Christmas Morning – Children and Christmas Socks stamp with Black Archival Ink on watercolor paper and painted it with Nuance Powders and attached it with foam tape.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy holiday season.
