Paradise. Playing with my Lyra Aquacolor water-soluble crayons and luscious Stamperia Rice Paper Decoupage sheet gifted to me by a dear friend. Of course I had to paint a girl in to enjoy the scene.
Journaling emotions really can be therapeutic. Mechanical pencil, graphite and blending stump.
Derwent Inktense Outliner pencil over Dina Wakley acrylic paints in Lemon and Magenta and gesso on a collage page in my handsewn junk journal. Love how all the edges of the torn pages show through. Makes it look medieval to me.
Titled by hubby ’cause her face is pretty wonky and crooked. Just playing with my Dina Wakley acrylic paints in my handsewn junk journal on this grey, freezing rain yucky day!
Tonight’s pencil sketch on the couch. My husband says she reminds him of Baby from Dirty Dancing. Not my intention, but what do you think?
Today’s finished face. Decided to add some color to the pencil/graphite sketch with some colored charcoal. She’s got some big hair going on! Maybe that’s why she also seems to have some attitude as well.
Inspiration from Pamela Gillespie (@sewcrazi) and @jillfaust. Love your art! Pencil sketch and watercolors with acrylic paint through a stencil.
Just doodling and painting in my junk journal.
Pencil sketch watercolored with Dina Wakley Media Scribble Sticks and colored pencils. I cut leaves from a gel plate print and glued them onto the branches. The sentiment is from Dina’s collage words. I used a Posca pen to redraw the lines of the sketch and created the border with Dina’s washi tape.
